BACKGROUND
This coffee is produced from hand picked cherries, harvested in their peak ripeness between October and December. The cherries are dried on raised African beds. The slow meticulous drying of the coffee cherries can take up to seven weeks. The management and current owners of the farm take a deep interest in the welfare of their employees. The farm is currently sponsoring two highschool students from poorer backgrounds to gains their school qualifications. It is hoped that this program will expand in the future.
