Coffee producer Flávia Faria de Queiroz works on her family farm, Fazenda Império, in the city of Buritizeiro in the Cerrado Mineiro growing region of Brazil. The farm was purchased by the family’s patriarch, Paulo Henrique de Faria, in 1998 after he had relocated to the region in search of suitable land for coffee cultivation. Today, along with siblings Paulo Henrique Junior and Marília, Flávia has become a key player in the farm and the family coffee business.
This lot of Yellow Catuai coffee underwent Natural processing. Catuai was developed by the Instituto Agronomico (IAC) of Sao Paulo State in Campinas, Brazil by crossing Mundo Novo and Caturra varieties. Catuai coffees are cultivated widely across Brazil, and are known for their high productivity potential.
