Vibrant, juicy and aromatic with notes of Guava, Mango, Tangerine
Description:
Grown in the highlands of Buesaco, Nariño, this Pink Bourbon develops slowly in cool mountain air and strong equatorial light. The steep Andean terrain and porous volcanic soils help concentrate sugars in the cherry, shaping a cup that is bright, juicy, and aromatic. At harvest, ripe fruit is hand picked and sorted, then processed as a natural with controlled, oxygen-free fermentation in sealed tanks. A density flotation step removes low-density cherries, and the coffee is dried carefully on raised sunbeds over an extended period to protect clarity and preserve delicate aromatics.
Pink Bourbon is known for floral lift and tropical fruit character at altitude, and this lot delivers exactly that. Expect a lively profile with guava and mango at the forefront, supported by tangerine-like zest and a clean, sweet finish. Nariño’s protected origin status reflects the region’s distinct conditions and craft, and you can taste that focus here. Brew it as a filter to highlight its layered fruit and bright acidity, or lean into a slightly cooler brew temperature to bring out rounder sweetness and a longer, honeyed finish.
