Sourced from the Corazón de Jesús Micromill in the high-altitude terroir of Chirripó, Brunca, this coffee represents the progressive edge of Costa Rican production. The Alvarado Fonseca family has leveraged the unique microclimate of this region—often overshadowed by its more famous neighbours—to produce lots that challenge the status quo.
This specific release features the Milenio F1 varietal , processed via a meticulous Double Anaerobic method. By fermenting the cherries in sealed environments, the producers have intensified the fruit characteristics without compromising clarity. The result is a cup that remains clean and silky, offering a vibrant acidity of red currant and hibiscus balanced by the sweetness of cherry jam.
