We Took a Trip to: Calle Bakery, Carlton North

With an ever-present line outside for their infamous croissant wheels, Calle Bakery is known for it's luxurious pastries and great coffee in the heart of Carlton North. With the name 'Callé' referring to "street" in Spanish and Venetian, this bakery takes inspiration from travelling in Europe to find hidden patisseries and bakeries, Callé Bakery wanted to share this memory with its customers and recreate the feel right here in Melbourne.

You'd be silly not to try their croissant wheels, which cover a range of flavours from pistachio to earl grey and exotic flavours like mango and pandan.  But, whilst you're here, don't sleep on the classics either like their buttery french plain croissants and savoury breakfast rolls. You can also pick up a hand baked sourdough for the week as well.

We love to sit outside and watch the world go by with a latte and croissant on the weekend, and just enjoy the people watching and delicious doughy taste! They've chosen our espresso blends as a great compliment to their pastries, highlighting the inner flavours of the handcrafted pastries, and contributing to the European cosmopolitan feel of the venue.
